Getting in adequate physical activity even on the weekends makes for a more vibrant day, with a better mood, increased energy and a more positive experience overall. Reflect on your weekends physical activity goals. Reevaluate them when necessary in order to put your best foot forward and feel your very best!
Channeling my inner Dora the Explorer on this hiking adventure. My favorite way to get steps in is on a challenging hike on a hot summer day. My total for the day on vacay was 7,486 steps. I typically aim to hit 10k but that’ll do as it’s not too shabby while on holiday. I traveled to almost the top of Summit Trail at Enchanted Rock in Texas. Where is your favorite place to hike?

This could look like doing your hair, makeup, buying a new workout outfit in order to feel more put together. When you feel good about how you look, you carry that energy over into your workout, you show up with more focus and drive. In addition to this it’s not about vanity, it’s about showing up for you and owning your space the way that makes you feel your very best.

This was something I used to stress in the past and I thought I needed to restrict all of the juicy or savory foods I really wanted to indulge in. The thing is there’s no need to restrict yourself 100%. This is where the 80/20 rule comes into play. You can still incorporate the foods you enjoy 20% of the time. The rest of the time focus on whole, healthy, nutritious foods that will fuel your day in the best way possible. You have one life you should enjoy it to the fullest, including which delicious foods you get to devour.
