Happy Friday!! So i’ve kinda been struggling a little this ..
Happy Friday!!
So i’ve kinda been struggling a little this week. I’m struggling really hard against deplatforming and digital discrimination. Some of ya know; my TT was scraped and after getting it back it has glitched and accidentally flagged every single one of my videos— I keep emailing support but it’s been a week and I’m not getting anywhere.
What I’m not doing *this* I’m working hard on other things— mainly advocacy work and I make a lot of educational content on how to better serve me and my community… it’s a lot of labor and I’m happy to do it but losing my platforms is really hard. It messes with our visibility and voice and community and $$$. It breaks my heart.. I’m struggling.
I woke up feeling SO motivated and excited to shoot this week but I just can’t be sexy when I feel like i’m losing it all. A lot of sxworkers are feeling this way… yet a lot of fans don’t wanna see or know this side of things. I find it unacceptable especially since were people! We deserve human rights, Rights not rescue and legislation that centers us. We have voices that we don’t even get to use because of stigma… it needs to be dismantled.
I’m taking the next few days to be head empty and little. I work really really hard and I hope you’ll stick around while I figure some stuff out. Sits been better. Idk. Stay safe this weekend, do good things today :3
