Okay, today’s update is both nasty and good.
Starting off by saying that I AM going to be okay, but it was discovered I have an intolerance to the opioid they started me on yesterday, and I am currently VERY sick ):
It’s hard to even type currently but I’m managing somehow! Lots of nasty symptoms, but I just gotta make it through today before things get easier! 💞
I was made some dinner because I genuinely can’t get out of bed (I am so lethargic I can barely hold convo lol) and tomorrow I am being put on a DIFFERENT opioid in which I already know my body can tolerate.
Your well wishes and generosity towards me so far have seriously been amazing, and hopefully tomorrow I won’t have any more nasty updates!

TLDR: I’m permanently physically disabled and have been in severe pain, but am getting further medical help since even my prescribed pain meds and the epidural weren’t enough.
Went to my pain management doctor today and have some stuff to share.
First off, I am not a candidate for surgery whatsoever due to my age and other factors, and I am not going to push it if that’s not what I need! They said if they operated I would most likely face paralysis, so I’m not going that route.
The other news, is that I’m getting 6 spinal injections for my arthritis and then am being put on opiates long term to help curb what I’m going through pain-wise.
At this point I don’t even care that it’s necessary, I need relief so badly and if this will give me steps towards functioning, I’m willing to go for it! 😩
Please note that this is not all bad news, because if I am able to function again I’ll be able to work more, take photos more, take commissions more, and most importantly, do things that normal people are able to do! 💞
I am really excited to see results this treatment plan yields, because I’m so ready for improvement with my issues!

The amount of pain I’m in is horrendous, and I’ve had to rely on a certain med I won’t name here for emergency relief at least once a day for the past half week, because it is only getting worse due to my spine injuries paired with multiple health disabilities.
I am on the maximum dose of a heavy prescribed painkiller already that I take 3x a day, and even that’s not enough to dull what I’m dealing with.
Praying Monday’s pain management doctor visit helps me, and at this point I may beg for any kind of relief they can offer, because I am a MESS 😭

Still dealing with some rancid health issues, the pain is severe and I am getting flare ups where either both arms or both legs go entirely numb 🥲
I was told by doctors that sadly I will permanently be struggling, and it’ll only get worse. I am really trying to stay positive and do what I can do manage! So far that’s medicating on time and resting, which I hate to do, but I still do my best to go on walks and go swimming because they’re not extensive on my body!
They do not want to operate on me due to my age and already known disabilities that could cause the surgery to fail.
I am currently going the pain management route since I believe that’s the best I can do, but LUCKILY I do want to say that I AM happy, I DO a enjoy life, and I am still working and doing my best!
My mood has been really good these past few days, even though I’ve woken up at 2-3am due to pain, and today I managed to clean my entire place, take care of my animals, etc! I am still somewhat functional through the pain, and that’s better than nothing!
I’ve come to the conclusion that as much as I hate to say it, DMs will still be slow until matters are further settled!
