One of my favorite plyometric exercises is the Single Leg Lunge to Hop.
Benefits: This is a great advanced cardiovascular move to get that heart rate up, while improving lower body strength, mobility & even ankle stability.
How to 👇🏼
- Start in a lunge position
- Push up through your front leading leg/heel
- Bring that back leg into a “hop” or “skip” position
- Land softly back into lunge position
I like to do this move for about 30 seconds on EACH side 😅
Tips: use your arms for extra power & make sure your leading knee is not over that leading toe (think 90 degrees)
‼️ Don’t forget to engage those core muscles for balance

Let’s talk about Rekordbox! (It’s what helps me to do what I’m doing in that video 😉)
Rekordbox is a tool used my most DJs because it’s compatible with Pioneer Decks (which is what 99.99% of clubs use)
It’s basically a software tool you download onto your computer and you’re able to transfer all of your downloaded music into there.
Once your music is in Rekordbox, that’s where you plug in your usb & can start to organize all of your music into folders, which will save right onto your usb.
It’s honestly an amazing tool to use if you’re getting into or have been in the DJ world. It keeps all of your music in one place, let’s you organize your music the way YOU want to & if you want to get fancy, you can add cues to songs (cues meaning the song will start at whatever minute & second you cued it up for. That’s good for if you’re planning a set ahead of time!)
All in all, I would say as a DJ and diving into my DJ career, Rekordbox and Beatport (scroll down for the video👇🏼) are the 2 main resources I personally use.

Full Body Burn 🔥
Perform exercises back to back for 40 seconds - Repeat for as many rounds as you wish (I recommend 3-4 total rounds)
* Mountain Climbers (engage that core and make sure your shoulders are aligned with hands)
* Single Leg Deadlift ( 40 seconds each side) * engage core for balance & make sure all of your weight is on that front heel pushing through those hamstrings/glutes
* Burpee with Shoulder Press (again, core engaged!)
* Squat (sit back into those heels and push through. Do not hyperextend! Keep chest up and engage that core)
* Pulsing Jump Lunges (that core is your friend for strength and balance. Engage it. Can modify and take out jump)
* Ab Pull in’s (to be honest Idk the technical term for this, but make sure your lower ab muscles are doing the work & your lower back is on the mat. Bring that belly button into your spine)

My favorite style of working out is circuit and HIIT training. By mixing strength & cardio moves, you are able to target and tone your muscles while keeping that heart rate up ⬆️ ❤️
