Whether it was from love, from careers, rejected from different packs. It's hard to survive when your constant day to day life is filled with rejection, especially things we're not in control of. Forgiving is easy, but forgetting is harder. We tend to overthink, obsessing, rethinking, and trying to reevaluate how differently it could have all could have gone. And just like that, precious time is spent mulling over the embarrassment, over anger. When really, we should've been figuring out how to deal with the outcome. Misery always loves company. This is why I believe we listen to sad songs when we're sad. It's melancholy we're addicted to. Let's move past that, and get out of the rut! Trick your own brain, and do something that's completely opposite of what you'd normally do. Go to a karaoke, go to a comedy bar, go for a hike, go join a dance class... Improving yourself, cannot hurt you. And the only acceptance that matters is within yourself.
